My goals as your ceramics teacher:
1. Teach each student the fundamental skills and techniques for creating with clay through structured assignments.
2. Allow time for students to then independently explore the various methods of creating with clay.
3. To help develop each student's unique voice as an artist.
3. Instill a strong work ethic with high expectations of professionalism. Students are expected to be prepared and on time, ready to help out in all areas of the community studio maintenance and be mindful of the attitude and energy they bring to the studio with them.
4. Create a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel inspired and encouraged to create.
